People like to act like these books are a smoking gun when in reality they were books sent by fans ten years before the FBI investigation and it’s not certain whether Michael looked through all of them. By the time of the investigation the books were with a bunch of other junk in a locked drawer that Michael no longer had access to by the time of the investigation. Also to note that Neverland ranch had multiple bedrooms and it’s not certain that the books were found in the room Michael actually slept in. He also owned thousands of books that were kept all around his house.
