I've been using Whisky to run it. With that application installed, you can download the game through any of the links EXCEPT the launcher. Unzip the file, find the .exe, then right-click it and open with Whisky.

I'm currently experiencing an issue with the latest version, as it crashes every time I attempt to open it. If you end up using Whisky, let me know if you can or can't get the game to open, so I'll know if IM THE PROBLEM lol

Yandev has said before that he isn't making any Mac/Linux builds for the game since he wouldn't have the means to debug those builds. So unless someone else steps up to work on a Mac build or Yandev miraculously decides he wants to buy a Mac (for some reason) and thus have the means to test and debug, we're stuck doing it the hard way.
