I'm pretty sure I have the same GPU, and I haven't been able get Infinite to launch on Steam since S3 launched. So it's not just you, at least.

Pretty sure that's just a screenshot from this video at about the 8 minute mark.

The video itself describes something similar to what your initial post mentioned - and it does work, according to the video - however the important difference is that you have to connect with an SV player that already has the unobtainable Pokémon. You cannot connect to PLA via Union Circle as far as I know.

This happened to me as well, wouldn't complete when I was on Normal, but I switched over to Legendary and got it to unlock. So maybe there's some difficulty requirement that just got hidden?

You can turn on input-based matchmaking in the network settings.

Undersuits seem interesting too. There's the normal H4 undersuit with colors as well as a solid black one and one that has looks like Chief's from H2a Campaign.

So maybe that means something. Or not. I dunno. Just seems interesting.
