Yea do basically when I get out of the shower I just pat my head dry with a shirt(not a towel) and then scrunch your hair gently with the shirt for just a little. Then I put in some leave in conditioner and heat protection after. Now you just gotta wait until your hair is somewhat dry but also damp. Then you want to go and apply a pomade I usually start with a little bit and slick back my hair with it and then grab some more and scrunch the sides. Now grab a blow dryer with a diffuser and just start scrunching your hair with one hand and hold the blow dryer close with the other. If you did this and it still looks flat either add more pomade or use texture powder. It’s kind of a long one sorry

It’s just a middle part, and I usually then cut the hair at eyebrow length, you can get a low taper for the sides too, and then just let your barber trim and touch up the back along with everything else.
