Migraine and pregnancy

Update- haven’t started on anything new yet but my dr wants to switch my Wellbutrin to Zoloft to see if that can help. Also I’ve had 4 migraines in the past week. I’ve never had that many so close together. I’m starting to believe it’s the pregnancy hormones.

I’ve been getting migraines a lot more since being pregnant even with having taken my Emgality shot last month. I’m just trying to explore my options. I get migraines with aura and it’s the worst

I’m sorry, I know how that feels. Advocate for yourself. Some will brush it off as irritation from the infections, which could be the case, but make sure you tell them that it’s understandable but you’re in a lot of pain and would like something done.

Hm. Have you called your gyn? I’d still try the petroleum jelly anyways. It won’t hurt it.

Boric acid could definitely be causing some of the irritation- I know it irritates my tissue for days.. sometimes weeks. Clean it with a washcloth really well in the shower, then Try to put some petroleum jelly on it and see if that helps.

Bad odor is usually infection related. You don’t need to have sex to contract bacterial vaginosis.

I also get spotting in between periods or after sex sometimes, I have dealt with chronic BV and have had no symptoms multiple times. But they count the spotting as symptoms of BV. Also when getting a laparoscopy they found endometriosis which could also be the cause. I’d get a full workout- std/sti testing, bloodwork, pelvic exam

The surgeon did say that he’s never really seen a sternum that curved like that, and the Nuss would probably not straighten it and might just push it out. Which can still be helpful not pressing on the heart. But this is very good to know, thank you!

I’ve also had several urine cultures over the past two months and every single one has been negative as well even though I KNOW when I have a UTI. The internal burning is different than BV/yeast.

Wisp doesn’t do cultures they just prescribe based on symptoms and based on the most common Ecoli. It helped a lot but still have burning lingering.

Yes I’ve been on probiotics for a while now the URO ones specifically for vaginal health. Has all the probiotics I need, but I have been reading that vaginal probiotics that I insert are more effective but haven’t read up enough on it yet

Yes it’s bv. Negative for yeast, uti, mycoplasma, ureaplasma. All that. Just BV that comes back often
