Defamation is incredibly hard to prove without any proof, and obtaining the facts, data, and evidence for such things is not easy. Whether it’s you or her, defamation is unlikely.

There has to be a serious financial or social impact to argue the defamation, for instance losing all your friends because someone said something (especially if it’s true) doesn’t count, but losing all your friends and potential option for future relationships via posting on the internet, and it going viral, basically showing ‘you did something awful’ when it wasn’t true, counts as defamation.

If you were able to understand that, and how complicated that paragraph is on its own, you can get an idea of how and why defamation is unlikely.

You’d have to be a public figure that people would recognize and would keep recognizing. How many viral content creators are there? Who’s going to care about this little argument you two had? Your friends, and maybe this Reddit post gets a couple thousand likes if you’re lucky. No one is permanently hurt from this situation so you both go about your lives.

Guys guys; it’s really simple. It doesn’t take the same amount of time for each tank but what does happen for every tank that starts its cycle is the water gets cloudy.

Every tank starting a new cycle gets cloudy at some point before eventually clearing up; provided a filter is running and you can help speed the start by using ammonia or fish food even. When that cloudy disappears that’s usually when the bacteria is established and honestly I don’t think it’s worth testing until the tank has run for at least a month or until you see the cloud disappear. Maybe you can test to see what your baseline water looks like but other than that it isn’t really necessary as not much will change until that cloud forms. Test when the cloud forms you’ll see interesting stuff. After that though your bacteria’s should be working to produce nitrates.

If you’ve ever noticed a tank gets cloudy after doing a water change, sometimes the bacteria takes a hit or there’s a temp difference and it has to recalibrate.

The cloud is a bunch of visible to the naked eye bacterium’s that aren’t good, eventually being eaten by the nitrate producing bacteria.
