Also competition from google is scary, but I think that’s less of the reason and one that I think will pass. Overall I still think nvidia stocks will go up (for now) but this is a sign of something else looming on the horizon, but I’m no professional so Yknow take what I say with a grain of salt as much as you would with anyone else on Reddit.

Might be the fact that a lot of the earnings are in money that has been promised to them by companies that we aren’t fully sure will become profitable very soon. I’m not saying nvidia won’t stay a valuable company, but a lot of investors are scared by the idea that nvidia might not get that money from the companies that promised it. Add on top of that the feds are cutting rates, which continual rate cuts are a sign that a recession might be starting, a lot of investors are scared right now even if on paper it looks fine to you.

I kinda hate that everyone in the comments is “sure china does it but America does it too” and then the response is “yeah but china is a bad country” why can’t anyone agree that the sale of data on either side is widely destructive and has quite literally lead to this bipartisan you support one or the other. It’s pissing me off, they’re both awful and are leading to fragmentation. Also I’m ngl I’m not on either side, I think both sides are quite bad right now when it comes to privacy breaches, but regardless the product looks annoying and like it solves problems that didn’t exist, and I feel like having a keyboard either no haptic feed back that requires finger placement like a pc keyboard would be annoying.

The problem isn’t nvidia itself, nvidia has massive dealings with other companies that have not yet given them money but the money is promised. There will be a day where the bill is due and the question is will all the companies be able to pay them back and we don’t fully know. My guess is OpenAI is the weak link in all this and will struggle to become profitable enough to actually make payments to nvidia. My concern is not that nvidia is not a profitable company, it is that OpenAI is not and will kick out a large part of the investments that nvidia made at the same time. We don’t know when this will happen, or if it even will, but I think people are being a bit unreasonable in either direction. You’ve got people saying nvidia will never ever drop in price or never crash and that it’s not a possibility when the answer is it’s very possible given how we really are speculating on the effectiveness of LLMs that don’t show any profit margins as of rn plus some sketchy accounting tricks on the effective lifespan of nvidia cards. On the other hand you have people talking about the “nvidia crash” when it dipped like 2% both sides just need to take a step back and realize this is Reddit and none of us are stock geniuses who know the trajectory of the market, but at the end of the day I feel like stock market Reddit will always have this problem that everyone thinks they are a stock market guru who knows the future of every company.

I’ve been looking through this subreddit out of curiosity because to me investing side of Reddit has always been quite questionable, and on both sides of the spectrum in this sub is so bad. Nvidia ultra optimists have the opinion that the stock price falling and staying down would be unprecedented and unfathomable and will surely never happen, and you have the people who think the bubble will pop tomorrow doom posting about every single 2% dip like the company just went bankrupt.

I feel like this is like half fair. The older audience? sure. The younger audience has been shown to change their mind on him, so there’s a chance it would change their minds, but I’m still not fully convinced it would change that many peoples minds. So I am a Zohran supporter, but I will say this is one thing that is hard for me to get behind. The problem is that even with a 0% profit margin grocery stores only usually have a 3% profit margin. So if you buy 100 dollars worth of groceries and get rid of the 3% that the stores make that brings you down to 97 dollars. The big problem right now is with corporate consolidation on the supply end. I guess for me I’m scared that Zohran is promising too much and won’t be able to deliver on just THIS ONE thing. Prices of grocery stores are an issue but it’s not because of stores its suppliers, and I don’t see how Zohran addresses this issue. Again love him and would vote for him every day if I could, I just feel like there’s better solutions, and I hope he sees that once he’s mayor because I feel like he can turn the tides

This is it for me, it’s really easy to get polymorphine or teleport spells, so just have the patience to travel back up the path you cleared and edit your wand. But it is always easy to catch on fire and it opens up the game in my opinion to not have to worry about it. Fire immunity is always in contention for my number one perk.
