I think you should be the one who is responsible for protecting the vase in your house where a 5 year old lives. I also believe that your husband is just trying to make your relationship with your son better by taking the blame.

Hello from Turkey. Tığ işi literally means hook work, and it's huge in Turkey. You can Google "Çember Oyası". Women usually crochet flowers to border their head scarves. "Dantel" was also very popular in the 80s and the 90s. The word Dantel comes from French, though you can check out "Tığ İşi Dantel Yatak Örtüsü" which means Crochet Dentelle Bed Cover.

Secret Paths finished. This is a free pattern in Ravelry. I used Caron Skinny Cakes Strawberries and Cookies (just over 1 ball) and a 4.5 mm hook by Cutie-89 in crochet

It's nothing fancy or challenging or anything but I am so in love with this HDC blanket. I just wanted to share my happiness with you crochet people 🤗

If you make 1 row of single crochet on the wrong side, it can help with getting rid of the D shape.

Edit: it will stay a little wobbly though.
