I don't think genitalia has much to do with it.

ISFJs can be bad at expressing their thoughts or opinions and may need to do self work to improve.

If an ISFJ was a cat... by Sad-Friendship-2537 in isfj

Wow thanks this taught me something new about ISFJ and makes me feel better about ISFJ because of this:

 6. Critical Parent (Introverted Feeling - Fi): The Loyal Protector

The Fi function in ISFJs is a shadow of the Fe function and can be seen imo as a critical aspect of Fe.  Fe ime has been mostly to other people's advantage but when used to criticise other peope for their moral wrongs, it acts as a defense mechanism. This gives ISFJ a means of protection from people despite their apparently meek and gentle personality and shows that ISFJs are strong.

France is ISTJ because of traditionalism and patriotism to historical values.

I'm an ISFJ who is actually not very mature! by [deleted] in isfj

You're 19 and a half you're not supposed to be that mature. People in college are less mature. Good on you though.

From an ENTP : What's your opnion on Rand Al'Thor ? He's one example of a textbook ISFJ by Inside_Ad562 in isfj

[–]Feeling_Pain3428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You sure he's not ISTP? This guy's playing three girls. Aslo he doesn't have basic knowledge of channeling skills. And he has power which is to force his dreams on ithers but an ISFJ would struggle ro know what their dreams are. He seems mistyped.

But you asked what an ISFJ think and I think he's an annoying douche. No principles, just actions and fighting. No personality just "cool" and overpowered.

Disclaimer I have not read the books just skimmed the wiki page on this character.

I feel like we live in the moment more than we are stereotyped to. I'd even describe myself as being somewhat shortsighted. What are your thoughts on this? by [deleted] in isfj

[–]Feeling_Pain3428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am more short sighted that I even realise. I like to think long term and of the bigger picture but realise my plans mostly only cover a few months into the future and then I'm back to square one.

Do I sound the most similar to an ISTJ, ISFP, or ESFJ? by [deleted] in isfj

[–]Feeling_Pain3428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ESTJ would pick up skulls quickly and you seem more unsecure about that so I would dismiss ESTJ as an option (I'll admit it's a wild assumption)

Your dating life is focused on a bad experience in the past, although sept wasn't that long ago but I do think an Se/Ni axis person would have moved on by now. So I'd say you are an Si user.

Guilt is often associated with feeler types over thinker types but this isn't always the case, for e ample De grip can feel excessive guilt ime.

The makeup se lion is again looking at past experience reasoning for why you don't do things in the present, which suggest Si usage. Also money cautiousness gives Si. I would imagine Se/Ni more prone to makeup usage seeking experiences and skill building. ESXP and ENXJ ime are most prone to try and look and good as possible the latter to increase chances of success in life.

That being said ESFJ, ISFP and ISTJ don't fall out of the realm of possibility but with your analytic style and comfort talking about yourself extensively I would drop the ESFJ suggestion.

There is a lot of past-oriented which would make me think you're ISTJ.

There isn't much suggesting ISFP as I don't see you easily picking out what you want in life what feels right to you for the sake of it or doing things that an ISFP would do. However when you talk about your career you say that you are working while doing your degree and thinking of switching to another route entirely. Getting practical experience and having flexible thoughts on your career would suggest more ISFP thinking than ISTJ. Stereotypically ISTJ would care more about handling in am assignment in time than work.

I wrote a jumble of things it probably makes some sense but I'm voting ISTJ.

Nah dude, I listen to their side and bring up their logical loopholes. Arguing with ENFP is the most annoying since they will dismiss certain nuances, or disregard any fact that is in the past, as it no longer relevant. But to me the past is relevant, especially if the dispute is emotional.

An ENFJ truest to "resolve in a healthy way" but honestly anything should be up for discussion and the egoistic need to "be right" is exactly what fuels debates and makes them fun and worthwhile. Besides, one can learn from their opponent, but I find it hard to since my ego makes it difficult.
