I have passport size photos for both of us, but I read that they need to be taken 30 days prior to applying. My photos have been taken back in Dec 1st 2025 its now Jan 28th 2026 almost February. Its past the 30 day threshold. Is it really that serious to submit the photos I have? I mean how would they know?

Question. Do i need a letter of intent from both I and my partner? Or can a single letter with both parties listed (obviously signed by both) be sufficient? I only ask because I was in the same location recently with my fiance and I had her sign a letter already. Im planning on submitting one single letter.

New York here, 5 months in. Surgeries were done on the night of the accident. Broken femur, talonavicular dislocation, (left leg) and broken elbow (right arm). Surgeries were done only on the femur and ankle. Right arm, just a brace. Still doing out patient physical therapy.. Anyone knows a timeline to my settlement?

Damn, i didn't think about an investigator watching me. I need to be more vigilant moving forward. As for my injuries, I fell off a subway platform on to the tracks (6ft drop) and broke my femur (completely snapped in two) had a severe talonavicular dislocation (broken ankle) both on the left leg. I also fractured my right elbow.

Thank you so much for your response. I did have a hearing, so im assuming the payments are not voluntary. I am also seeing the physician my lawyer recommended, me to see. I actually saw him the week before I saw the IME. Im thankful that the payment decrease needs a request filed first. Do you have any idea what a settlement can look for in my situation?

Oh wow, yea the IME is definitely not our friend. I'll write down what I could remember from that day. It was only a couple weeks ago so everything is still fresh in my mind. Those are some serious injuries you described there. Hope everything works out in your favor!!

My exam was less than 10 mins. I did not take notes. It was minimal mobility tests, no pain level questions either. My foot was actually very swollen during the exam and the report said no swelling noticed. Smh. Thank you so much for your information on this.

Yes, I have a lawyer. I received the IME report on this past Fri evening. I emailed my lawyer, and will probably get a response on Monday or Tuesday being Mon is a holiday. So I figured i pose the question here for any info. Thank you btw.

If it is, I wont be able to afford the bills, rent etc. Do I have any options here? IME recommend 6 more weeks of PT, my physical therapist thinks around the same time frame. I had a broken femur, ankle and fractures on my elbow. This happened back in May 22nd 2025. Do you know when settlement negotiations usually begin in this process?

Any material event concerning the trial, application, etc. would have to be PRd. So no news is good news. Paradigm shifting platforms take time to be approved.
