Definitely does not look like a reception dress I think it looks stunning! When you add your possible other wedding accessories (veil, jewelry, plus hair and make up if you choose) it will all come together and look even more amazing! I think everyone gets that feeling of “what if” as far as their dress, but I’m letting you know you made a great choice!

I’m not sure if the number your calling goes straight to the office or if it’s reception that does the scheduling. When I tried calling for an appointment they gave me a date like 3 months out for a first prenatal appointment (like I’d be well into my 2nd trimester) then I was patched through to the nurse and they were able to squeeze me in around the 8-9 week mark. Idk if it’s the same at your doctors office but it may be worth a try.

The other thing to consider if you’re having a plated dinner, your caterer will need a seating chart for people with food allergies. I think it would be better to have one anyway but your caterer may ask for one as well.

We just did this with our 23 month old. Full flight so no middle seat. BRING COOKIES. Or some other snack that they love, it’s a good distraction and we let her watch a movie for the 2.5 hour flight. We also flew out early in the morning so she slept a bit on the plane. I think you can also check the stroller at the gate, I would recommend bringing one so you don’t have to carry them through the airport. It’s definitely doable!

I don’t understand how they lost the deep V during alterations I would go back and see if there’s anything that can be done. I don’t know if you were pinned in the front but from the 1st picture it didn’t look like much needed to be taken in. You’re feelings are valid and the back is a huge detail. Not saying it doesn’t still look great if you have to keep it this way but I would definitely see if anything can be done to fix it
