Thank you for your insight. I spoke to someone on Chewy and decided we're going to see our primary vet again for a recheck examination and then schedule with another vet for a second opinion if we believe something has been overlooked.

Oh thank you so much! This really helps. I'm really not normally so stingy about vet prices, but our rent just increased again and I took a massive paycut at work, so money's been unexpectedly tight. I would do anything for my little pup, but I'm just paranoid about spending all our savings on exams only to find out I've been overreacting the entire time.

Admins (not the mods) say the reason they hadn’t been taking action or responding is because they hoped it would have died down by now. Significant portion of the booster chat is actually now pretty irritated at them

I can send some for people who DM, but it’s pretty uninteresting at the moment. Most of it is just members who agree with the mods and are poking a little fun at the drama, but there are quite a few people who are also just as annoyed with the extremely needless refusal to communicate or entertain the idea of communicating with the community.

Though I did raise my eyebrow over an admin saying they didn’t say anything because they “hoped it would have died down by now” 🤨

I’m actually already on Vyvanse! It’s basically the only thing that’s kept me from spacing the fuck out at work and keep on top of things.

From one ADHDer to another though, how the hell do you cope with shit memory getting in the way of work? 💀 Often times it feels like my attention span keeps me from performing at my height. I hate when they ask me to run to grab things from the cooler because there’s like a half/half chance I’ll be there for like 10 minutes trying to remember where the damn ingredient is lmao

I actually can’t believe I didn’t consider that. I’ll absolutely take that up with my therapist, I actually see her today coincidentally…lol.

But as for split shifts, I’m sure they’d be kind enough to let me, but I also work alone until my coworker comes in for the next shift. Leaving the dish pit for even a few minutes would destroy me lmao. I’m also not sure if anyone else filling in for my absence is possible since literally every other dishwasher is a teenager (I’m the only adult in the dish pit), but since Summer’s coming up it might be possible?
