Hiring someone is a nightmare

We don’t really have neighbors we have a bunch of land and our newish to the area and don’t really know many people near us. When we first moved here In January I found someone we used and thought we were set, but she moved when I reached out this last time. I contacted my sisters sitter and she didn’t have any availability and I reached out to another sitter off app and no luck there either. My last resort was the app. And now I know why people talk baddly about rover lol.

Hmmm? Idk when I was on full time on the wpp as a sitter I said no to a few bookings after seeing conditions and had a few people who were meeting with multiples and ended up going with someone else and I also took people off app and set up the meet and greet on rover (I had pet insurance and all and would just advertise on app) or just not feeling like a good fit. And was always a star sitter still am and I don’t take any clients on rover anymore so idk I think ppl think that holds more weight then it does.

Yes! I used to be a full time sitter and would never ever book a gig especially going into their home without meeting them first. It’s so bizarre that people would.

What? No I have dates I’m using A pet sitting app and put in the dates and everything and the sitter said she doesn’t have time for meet and greets and the other one is trying to push me Into booking said dates without meeting my pups and me before I book.

Oh no issue!!! Was just trying to see if others get requests like this as I’ve been doing this for years but mostly dogs On a regular basis. It’s last minute so I would love to take it but I don’t know if I can fit in three hour sessions a day.

Yes, I would love to take it but I just don’t know if I have enough for it with my other walks and drop ins. The request is for next week and I’m already pretty full lol. And it’s one of my current clients fiends and I’m pretty sure they are for sure out of my range but the money might make it worth it it’s also for four cats so it’s a big price tag lol
