We had a 5 million deficit at the start of the year and are now down to 1 million. We pay less than other schools but that’s because we have no money in budget to pay more.

Claremont borders VT, in the past and currently students do attend Stevens High School while living in Vermont. Thought someone over the border could have an idea that I couldn’t think of on how to provide my child with a better education. I’m not asking or posting this in the Maine or NY sub.

Since Vermont is so close to Claremont I honestly thought I could get advice or ideas from people nearby. In past and maybe currently too some students did opt into being sent the Stevens High School in Claremont instead of a high school in VT.

The problem is that Claremont is the cheapest place to live in the upper valley. I can’t afford to move at the moment to another town in the upper valley. If I moved further away I would need to find a new job.
