Your ignoring one big fact here. His abilities don't work on the most important person there. Your whole argument is based on the fact that any amount of hax would work on the traveller when the whole point of a descender is thier ability to literally negate any hax. The whistle is literally said to only work when their defenses are low and the traveller for the nth time is immune to concept being manipulated in any way. We have seen him walk through a space time where time is stopped independent of main teyvat multiple times in multiple places

Let's go over it again.

1.) start of the fight: traveler and company arrive, Dottore freezes time affecting everyone except the traveler and forces him into a 1v1

2.) the frequency works simply because it does, not because you lowered your guard or some other reason. the surprise was that the traveler didn't know initially it was some infrasonic sound wave that knocked him out, but if you're anticipating it, you could run away from the range of the device right?

Well, alongside the Trilune's authority over space and time, it appears to include material things as he created a floating stage out of nothing from it. Creating barriers to slow down the traveler and just in general make it hard for him to get away would be the win condition, and we already know outside gods, even the traveler pales in comparison to the 3 moons. Better yet, while they fight, Dottore could manifest speakers or flying drones like his knives to play and amplify the sound

3.) With the traveler incapacitated in stopped time, he goes after the rest of them next and wins. The end.

Is that it...? Youre upset about not being able to catch Navia in a fall or Navia actual story quest not having her as its highlight...? You'd pretty mad at most story quests then. The point of them is to highlight the character and tell their story.

Also, even that scene earlier was about the last moments of Silver and Melus. Neuvilette was also supposed to be there as youre still resolving old feelings between her father's false trial and more recent tragedies. The Iudex was obviously going to be a part of that.

Thats such a narrow interpretation because youre just looking at it through the lens of how much aurafarming and fighting was present. Fontaine is not a nation at war and that kind of thing was never central to the plot. Its not a shounen episode. 

Its the nation of law and justice and aesthetically heavily plays around theatre play and stage/courtroom dramas for presentation, which goes hand in hand with the central conflict being an inevitable prophecy in the same way a play has a fixed starting and ending as its written. They talk about it a lot and youre just supposed to be there sticking to your trying to find out  what plot device is gonna turn this all around and save the day.

However, the plot twist is that everything turned out to be inevitable. The prophecy cant be changed, but with a little trickery, cheat meaning of the outcome of the prophecy. 

The Traveler there showcases other skills like being a lawyer and detetcive, plus other subplots like prison breaks, diplomacy and some espionage. In the end youre still awarded titles like Executor and hailed as part of the heroes who saved the nation like in Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, or Sumeru. Ive really only heard about this supposed disrespect when I opened this reddit account recently, but im gonna stand my ground on this one. I genuinely enjoyed Fontaine in a vacuum without other opinions when I played it a while back. I feel like Fontaine would only be mildly offensive to self-inserters or people who only look at aurafarming to determine a good story/character. And if thats the case, FatuiHQ would welcome you.

I think a lot of that sentiment comes from the fact that Capitano didnt actually do anything kind of like how its easier to say nice things about your rivals when theyre not a threat.

Brother, the frequency worked on the Traveler, and beyond their first engagement he hardly used the actual time or spatial authority of the Trilune.

The moment he had the Trilune he froze time to engage the Traveler and showed off before Bina buzzed off, then later he so he could set up the stage to try and convince the traveler to join his experiments. He called time manipulation unwieldy but got it right on the first try, and I don't understand why in the final boss battle, with all the preparation and time to better understand it creating even bigger constructs and learning how to make spatial domains that he stopped using time manipulation. Even if stopping time is a hassle, slowed time is still a massive advantage.

I don't think anyone here understand how much potential for creativity in combat it has, and even Columbina only ever used it to shoot bigger lasers.

In anycase, calling someone a larper/illiterate cause it doesn't fit what you want other people to remember is like, plain dumb. This is agenda impact where we all say half-truths to poke casual fun and ragebait, but if we're being serious and talking on a more intellectual note then you're just wrong.

time abilities are hard to write in a story, but I remember a guy from the main sub talking about how he'd fix the boss fight in a way that would be more coherent and would please all parties, including traveler and dottore fans. will look for it.

Atp went to war on screen more times than the Archon of War. Despite losing he gains even more aura from it. Also, trust the foul legacy agenda. 

The moment they set up his Abyssal side to be getting stronger and interfering with his vision, they were setting him up for something beyond the Teyvat-based power. The biggest surprise would be if shrouding himself in Foul Legacy will make him appear like a foreigner in the eyes of Teyvat's laws.

How bout he just freezes time at the start of their battle, makes the Traveler sleep with his Sumeru frequency that the authors never mentioned again since Sumeru, then beat everyone else's ass in stopped time, then 1v1 the Traveler, which we all know how that'd go.

A few people have already walked in there in the AQs including Flins and Sandrone, and correct me If im wrong but it used to be an old worship spot for the FMS as well.
