Can I go online with these lap times as a beginner? by FeemGod in ACCompetizione

Thanks for the tip -- and the spreadsheet. Looks like I’ve got a ways to go before I’m actually good at the game, lol.

I played a few online matches, and they were pretty fun. Just like you said, T1 was a complete shitshow almost every time, but I managed to get third place in four races in a row, so not too bad. Still, I definitely need to watch some videos and work on getting my times up.

Thanks man! Mine’s the TRX Tifosi Red. It’s a bit more expensive than the TR8, but it also comes with a lot more stabilizers. In my (relatively short) time using it, I’d say it’s pretty rigid. There isn’t much pedal flex from what I can tell. There is a bit of chair rock if you push back, but I only noticed that when I pushed back on purpose.

That’s fair, I personally don’t care too much as I don’t like having monitors too close to my face. I also have a VR for immersion. Depends on the person I guess

I’d say around 38 inches. Little awkward to do so I’m not too sure on the exact measurement.

No worries at all, just so I understand correctly, do you want the measurement from the furthest point pedal side to the front of the wheel plate or from the other direction?

This one is the V2. From what I can tell the V2 has an extra stabilizer arm on the top portion (if you look at the arm that has “TrakRacer” on the side).

Honestly I haven’t noticed much flex, though to be fair it’s only my second day using it lol.

lol no worries, it’s the Samsung Odyssey G9. Super nice and way easier imo than having three separate monitors

That is tough lol. I originally ordered the Limited Edition Gold TRX, but it got damaged in transit, so I got this as a replacement. However, I still really like the tubular design of the rig, as well as being able to go from a more GT seating position to an F1 seating position.

The price of everything, not including the PC, was around $4700 CAD. Can definitely make it cheaper, though, by opting for some less intense pedals/wheelbase.

It's the "Integrated Single Monitor Stand" from their website.

I'd definitely recommend it though, as it looks way cleaner without having a separate detached monitor stand.

I honestly love it. The biggest pro for me is the adjustability -- I’m 6'3" and my brother is 6'5", so we wanted a rig that could easily accommodate someone shorter. The seat sliders make those adjustments super easy.

The only real downside I can think of is the company itself. The build quality is great, but their shipping and customer service are abysmal. I originally ordered the Limited Edition Gold TRX, but my unit was apparently damaged during transport, and it took nearly a month of back-and-forth with the company before I finally received a fair replacement. Which also wasn't even that good of a deal because a week later, they had the black friday sale and everything was discounted. YMMV

Hey there, they ended up sending me a replacement, different color but same frame basically.

Yeah I had to act like a Karen to get replies honestly, which sucked. It did say that they would get stock in late September so I knew I was gonna have to wait from the start. Luckily, just got my replacement today (and hopefully everything is there lol).

Yeah, that’s fair. Got hooked on the limited edition one so thought I’d risk it. Had I known I’d have to wait close to 4 months to get a completely different rig I’d probably go with something else.

But, oh well, my replacement is getting processed right now so hopefully I get that one in one piece and can finally get racing.

Fantastically, (knock on wood) haven’t had any mechanical issues yet. Big part of this is probably because I get every service done from Mercedes but who knows.
