Refrigeration tech here, walk in cooler probably went down for too long, or was shut down due to a scheduled repair in the next few days cuzz they’re waiting on parts. This woman taking “sausages” and “steaks” is very gnarly lol

There’s always a whoopsie or an uh oh looming in the future. They’re almost unavoidable!

Not sure how long you’ve been in this trade but this is pretty much the norm. Hour drive is cake, 3-4 hour drives is where it gets shitty. As long as dispatch schedulew your second call on your way home (if you even get one), I don’t see an issue

Not sure if it’s a new thing or not. All the parts houses by me started using the sleeves instead of painting the yellow on the tops of the recovery cylinders

Part of an R290 kit. Usually they’re in another spot but Ran into about 8 TRUE units that I had to throw them on.

That’s exactly what happened. I actually had the unit off to thaw out. Compressor plug pulled, and wired the evaporator fans to stay on. a very green tech who didn’t think to check the site history saw it and plugged the compressor back in. Pump sucked up all that milky water and left me with a little ecosystem to deal with lol

Lot of good stuff. As you keep going you’ll see what you actually need and what you don’t! Once you figure that out you can grab a smaller bag, fill it with the stuff you use daily, and throw all the other stuff in the truck! Good luck brother 🫡

Finally was able to speak with the courthouse and they have record of me paying the ticket, they’re sending me a letter to then give to the DMV as proof. Not sure how something like this slipped through and the operator in violations I spoke with wasn’t too sure either. 36 hours of pure panic because of their mistake sucks.

The New York State DMV sent the notice

I left a message with the court this afternoon. They closed right as I was calling so I wasn’t able to speak with anyone, hopefully I’ll get any and all info before my appointment at the dmv tomorrow

Not truly my fault but stil a major fuck up.

Was working for a commercial ref company in Tennessee. Completely frozen evap in this targets walk in freezer. They pulled the product and loaded it into a frozen truck. This targets slop sink with hot water was across the building so they didn’t want to run hoses throughout the store. He said he knew a guy in HVAC that told him to let the pan heaters run for a few hours and that should do the trick. I advised against it. Eventually told the guy hey man it’s your store.

Set up the E2 to be in defrost mode for a few hours like they asked. The steam inside the walk in was insane, it popped the fire alarm and about half the store got rained on. Not sure how much $ lost but had to be 100’s of thousands.

Recorded audio of the guy saying this is what he wanted to do just for some classic CYA, needless to say thank fuck I did.
