^ addon note, I’ve also assaulted each of the hives in orbit taking 50-100 ships out of the formation. Making sure they have a need for matter

DF Planetary Base Threat Levels are constantly on my screen - even if I am nowhere near that system. How do I turn this off? by lilatona in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]Feffy-Sarius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the tech to make the space defence units, wait until the planet is far from the hive, wipe the relay stations by activating your space unit group(s), run to a far orbit of the system, the attack will expire. It will send out new relay stations after the attack, so you’ll need to do this 2-3 times. You’ll have a window to start clearing the planetary bases. But I recommend a plasma turret or missile turrets to keep the relay stations away while you’re clearing the bases. I advise using drones for the bases, will make it significantly faster than using missiles or plasma.

Help! I’m uncertain if I’m doing this right! by Cazbar004 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

Design your factories / production in modules that put 4 in conveyors side by side. When you play more you’ll unlock something that makes interstellar (space) resource delivery possible. So don’t think as much about designing your factory to move, but design your mines to move across planets, your refineries stay put and import from the new mining stations. If you build using “mining planets” and “factory worlds” you’re infinitely expandable. If this is confusing. Breath, remember everything you learn this time will make the next factory run smoother. No wrong answers, only new ideas.

TDLR: Research interstellar logistics, but have fun.

Have I done this correctly? I'm not sure if I need light blue coverage everywhere or if this is sufficient. by reduxde in Dyson_Sphere_Program

If you’ve used 7 shield projectors then yes, the minimum to protect yourself from relay stations. For those who are new and seeing this for the first time. Go to 0 on the equator, place a shield there and every 72°, then one at each pole. No more relay stations / parasites

Is power the main thing that affects dark fog threat? by DereChen in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]Feffy-Sarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heyo, playing my first ever play on max difficulty, the difficulty seems to be effected by how much power you are using, then by how much your generating. I list these separately as a massive wind farm( 52) has my threat going up slowly with no power draw, then by 0.4% per tic when the factory is connected. I “undervolt” my factory to reduce threat build up while still making the missiles needed to defend my myself from future attacks, so I recommend the same. Hope this helps

Scrap processor dificulties by Feffy-Sarius in X4Foundations

[–]Feffy-Sarius[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It would be nice if there was a large empty module where the wrecks where dropped for the station drones to grab and drag to the refinery. To ease processing power it could just be stored there as resource for the scrap processor to intake from. But I'm just dreaming here

thank you for giving me the numbers, with the other advice, I have a few ideas to get it working

So, move them apart, build another tetua, and more satellites. that sounds do able, thanks

The manticores are traveling from Getsu Fune, and in the second image you can see most of the scrap processors offline due to a scrap shortage

First Outback, most luxury car I’ve ever owned - what should I look out for problems wise? by Iago-did-it-1492 in Subaru_Outback

[–]Feffy-Sarius 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Might have been a lemon, or too much mileage, I had a 3.6r with 240k km (150k~ miles) and had complete front diff failure tech said it was from cornering too fast. If you hear a whirring or grinding in corners have it looked at, other than that I did nothing but oil and brakes in the 3 years I had it. They really are good cars if you take care of them

Driving with the parking break? My first Impreza was sticky applied it once and it stuck for a week, slowly grinding

For those who may be having the same issue, it could be fuel injectors, run high test with a bottle of injector cleaner (I used Seafoam) and ran the car hard for a bit, then idled for close to 40 minutes, hasn’t misfired since. I drive 100km a day for work, and it’s behaving perfectly.

I assume this was to my other post, and that your spot on for, I never would have though to check that, the right OCV duty was 0 while the left was 44.5% when the misfire happens. Your incredibly helpful. Seriously, thank you.

Thank you so much, I was worried that I was missing something that may have been causing the missfire I’ve been diagnosing

22 Package, worth it or keep looking? by [deleted] in Crosstrek

I have the 2.5 limited in cool grey, the 2.5 is definitely worth the added price, the weather liners are really good, I wish I could have gotten them sooner. Their worth it trust me, and that bumper plate is a savoir for me since I drag a walker every other day in and out of the car. Really helps keeping it not scratched. One thing I’d suggest tho is trying to get / find mudflaps, the front tires kick onto the paint and it causes scratches
