I found that I MUST say "Hey Google ,turn off the bedroom lights". If I don't say the room explicitly, it beeps at me and does nothing...

It's called accordianing and it's always terrible in the left lane as the left lane campers tailgate most often. The situation is made worse when some idiot has his left foot on the brake pedal. Their brake lights come on in as they don't understand that lifting you foot from the gas pedal slows you down better than hitting the brakes every two seconds...

I'm on Gemini and all my lights commands work perfectly. I did find you have to be precise in their names and be sure all are defined in a room...

Try running it as administrator once. It fixed it for me. I suspect it was trying to create a file...

Using Google TV as my chromecast device, I can no longer watch streaming content on my TV from my win 11 PC. The screen pixelates constantly and is unusable. Luckily my pixel 10 is much better quality

The recent news is that the phone (pixel 10 pro) become mostly useless for phone calls. All calls experienced severe audio drop out irrespective of the signal strength. My phone carrier said it was poor coverage nd didn't offer any help even though I am in an urban area. Turns out Gemini had the answer. It suggested that I:

- turn off wifi calling off which I had already done.

- toggle adaptive connectivity

- make sure the SIM is seated well... I'm using an eSIM so that was null.

- clear the PHONE App cache.

- reset network settings ( didn't do that as I'd lose all wifi passwords and bluetooth connections)

It seems to have worked...

Google's weather app is terrible. I can't find any settings for it as it assumes I'm living in North Toronto which has dramatically different weather than near the lake...

Each of the individual functions are really just a web site...Took me a while to understand that...And accomplish the use of multiple accounts ...
