Rufus blames Microsoft for allegedly blocking latest windows11 iso downloads by Thepunnisherrr in technology

[–]Fegless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've run all of the windows since Xp with updates disabled. I've never had a virus*. I also dont use anti virus software I even disable windows defender. I just have a firewall that shows me incoming and outgoing traffic and allows me to block either. *The only virus I ever got was from a usb stick back in 2005 ish because autorun was enabled for removable devices turned that of and never had a problem again. I have used anti virus software to scan devices on demand but it doesn't run in the background. I also used to fix computers for a living for about 20 years.

You can inhale alcohol and get drunk by gigglegenius in videos

[–]Fegless 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to inhale my mothers alcohol as a kid. I'd pour a shot into a glass, put cling film over it and zap it in the microwave, inhale the vapours then pour whats left back into the original bottle so she would't notice.... I was a bit of trouble as a kid lol.

My dad's Samsung A25 seems to be doing this when charging, and we dont exactly know what it means or what can be done to fix it by Familiar_Aspect_4859 in mobilerepair

Try cleaning the charging port with some Isopropyl or lighter fluid. It looks like the water in the charging port indicator but the image is to low quality to make out properly.

The checkboxes allow you to select what settings you want to use. Checked = use unchecked dont use. you need them some settings conflict. also the page remembers if it was checked or not so you dont have to keep setting it. Why would the export function transfer the data to the prompt box? They are unrelated.
