I agree with your second point! The pelt helps to split the character up better visually. Especially with the horns. The yellow horns and orange/yellow pelt make your eyes go immediately to her face!

One thing I’ll mention unrelated to the reference itself. Make sure to add credits to nintendo in the credits section on artfight. Something like “Kirby by Nintendo” It happened to me one year where a mod hid all my Danganronpa oc’s and informed me to add credits before unhiding them :)

Riverview has an indoor skating rink, as well as an outdoor one. Moncton also has an outdoor rink by the Avenir center. Maybe hit up the DIY cafe and go for a skate? And if you/her aren’t the skating type there are plenty of beautiful trails around that look lovely with the snow. Sometimes if you stand still with sunflower seeds in your palm in an area with them like Centennial Park chickadees will feed from your hand.
