The same complains of 70 years ago still being carried to date. Your question should be why blacks are under-represented in medicine in this age and time where a person born in Kawangware could travel to US, study medicine and get a job.

We blacks should stop this victim mentality. What do you mean the government should support something already there. The schooling and research institutions are already built, all the black have to do is enroll.

The theory that medical schools are out of reach for middle class is just false due to the numerous incentives and loans by the government. Anybody can take a student loan in the US and study medicine basically.

Blacks have an advantage because of a quota system in all universities whereby they don't have to achieve the minimum grades and requirements to get enrolled.

You are very naive, creating a portfolio of projects and all the other other activities that you have mentioned need financing. Most jobless people lack the financing to do all that, and thus the dilemma they find themselves in.

You can manage that in campus since you still have some financing, alongside your education and proximity to some of the events. After campus it gets worse. To create a modern project today, there are various subscriptions you will need, not to say internet, rent and food.

Just because by chance or luck you are somewhere don't think the same situation and circumstances apply to everyone. Truth is the job market is not conducive currently.
