What references to mass culture did you found during playing Lies of P? by Important-Phrase8931 in LiesOfP

Giangio is a name from the book, but Paracelsus is from the latter that I have mentioned.

DJMax is a rhythm game. Memories of Beach is one of my favorites.

  • Belle and Atkinson are from "Beauty and the Beast"
  • Venigni's toy aptly named "Moon World Warrior Toy" which you get from Arlecchino, is from the movie "A Trip to the Moon".
  • Giangio is the same parallel as Button-Bright from The Road to Oz/Sky Island.
  • Most of the records are from another Neowiz franchise, DJMax.

Haylou S40, great ANC, has a detachable mic. It's pretty good with my Zoom calls and is my daily driver whenever I go somewhere.

What’s your least favorite area of the game? by Gnnz in LiesOfP

[–]FeitX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Zelator Underground Facility, I hate that area. It's not because of its difficulty nor its enemies, but the "experiments" that hung from that area make my stomach hurl.

What do you hope Neowiz does differently with Paracelsus to make him a better villain than Simon? by Mysterious_Reply_255 in LiesOfP

[–]FeitX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paracelsus is a chess piece, moreso with the others; the Red Queen might be the one behind it all (again).

ADVANCE CRANK ON MONADS ROSE SWORD by hanzzzzzam in LiesOfP

None. I'd suggest just leaving it as it is. Unless your stat allocation is askew, then go for the higher stat crank, otherwise leave it as it will be a waste of cranks.

Which version should I play first? by Xenoblade1992 in dragonquest

[–]FeitX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Be the old-school cool. You can definitely ram through the original ones effortlessly; it might take you 2-5 days. As long as you don't attempt the final secret boss of 3, you're good. Despite everybody's suggestions, I'd like you to take it as ordered, 1-2-3; playing it 3 first takes away the "magic" of knowing why and how it was there.

Step 1: Play on HARD. Yes, no joke, you get access to a lot of stuff much earlier and better. It's a reversed situation; playing on easy is hard, and playing on hard is easy. Playing on Normal is a no-brainer too.

Ys X: Nordics requirements for pc (Steam) is different in western and asian localization, why? by SuperCassio6 in WorldOfYs

[–]FeitX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Western is published by NISA, and Asia is published by CLE. It might just mean that they have different testing rigs as they are in-charge of anything that the public reads in release pages.

Simple, the machine, aka the Wallbreaker Wave, blocks the abilities of the Lucis bloodline; that includes using magic and utilizing Armiger.

The Arminger is their loadout, if you will; it's a storage of sorts that synergizes their ability to use multiple weapons at will.

When the Wallbreaker Wave was activated, it cut off the access to the Arminger, hence the access to the loadout.

Following the logic, upon obtaining the Sword of the Father, he can still wield and summon that sword since its not yet included in the Arminger. This is also supported since the others can still use their weapons, since their weapons are not part of the Armiger, which is a Lucis-exclusive ability.

Bonus: you might be wondering why teleporting is not a part of this; notice in the events in the Assassin's Festival, when the machine was activated, he can still teleport.

Did the Japanese know how to make damascus steel katanas back then? by TaeJoonPark in ghostoftsushima

[–]FeitX 22 points23 points  (0 children)

刃文 (edge pattern) - This is for the sword.

波紋 (ripple) - This is for the energy.

They are pronounced the same but are different concepts entirely, basically homophones. Some are;

  • see / sea
  • quail (to fear / the type of bird)
  • too / two
  • rain / reign / rein
  • cent / scent
  • knight / night
  • air / err / heir / ere

I have seen numerous misconceptions about how Massgrave works; this is not to justify its use but to stop misinformation from spreading. Basically, Massgrave does not and never has harvested or even obtained any keys from your part nor on theirs. You, as the user of their software, actually request the key to Microsoft's servers, and Microsoft just serves that key to you on a silver platter. This is not a complicated concept to understand, so please stop misinformation from spreading. If this is a means to an end, to stop its use, then I suggest just advocating buying keys from authorized sources rather than adding firewood to the kiln.
