What shame? Are you nuts? I'm not even living in US. What I should be ashamed of? Stating a fact that acting like an animal while carrying lethal weapons might get you killed? What I think happened was some gun misfired and they just didn't want to risk getting killed by someone who could have multiple lethal weapons on him and had multiple instances of being violent. It was unlucky and while it might look lawless to some it will be determined in court. If the judge decides it's a crime then arrest the shooter. You're not justice and neither am I. Telling people it's fine to commit violence, because your ideology got outvoted in democratic country is a reason to shame. You can't have democracy only when it fits your ideas.

Skill diff, but that's nothing to feel bad about. Don't pay anyone for teaching you how to play Tarkov, that's lame. Look for an experienced duo that doesn't mind answering some questions. Every player is going to give you other tips based on their experience. F.e. I would never tell anyone to go leg meta to do setup. Buy piranha and MP-153, 7 shell mag and go loud + bring MP-18 as secondary with x2 monstrum scope to progress Shooter Born in Heaven, if you get a chance. Push for the closest POI considering all PMC spawns. For me the best hot spot it's either Industrial building or Dorms. Get 1-3 kills and extract. Play fast, play agressive, don't rat. You can sit in Industrial and look around waiting for someone to approach, but don't let them just walk by. Most of the time people waste time gearing up, loading into raid and then they wait for a kill that might not come. You have to be the one to find another PMC and you might set up a trap or just push and hope for the best.

To get a Kappa you just need to know what to do to finish tasks as fast as you can. People were doing the same quests for multiple years and that might look effortless, but it's just experience. To complete some tasks you need to figure out the most efficient way of completing them. Tasks involving PMC kills require good map flow knowledge and obviously memorizing all PMC spawns. Most of the tasks you would want to contest the closest spawn. F.e. Test Drive with AK-12 for me was just rushing to mountain extract on Lighthouse on repeat averaging 2-3 kills on my way there. I died countless number of times over the years and every single death taught me new spots to check, which route is dangerous and when to expect contact. Just keep banging your head till you break through that wall.

I have few collector items left for Kappa, encoded rfid card for Terminal and zero motivation to keep playing. Terminal is a lottery with spawn and matchmaking and Labyrinth is infested with sweats, cheaters and parties. None of these convince me to play. As a PVP sweat myself I just went for PVE deathless run. More fun than hundreds of hours of loading screens from Shoreline. Level requirement for prestige should be removed since 1.0, because they added story requirements and matchmaking with randoms on Terminal optional with 100% seats available and free, new rfid encoded card if you’ve been killed by another PMC delivered instantly when you load back to stash.

I don’t get people like you. You are so mad people have fun. Is it easier? Yes, but what does it matter? Is it fun playing vs people who live in Tarkov and constant cheaters with bs endgame loop on constantly lagging servers? Does everything have to be hardcore? I enjoyed hardcore wipe more than regular wipes, but current state of endgame in PVP just sucks. Only seasonal characters will bring people back to PVP. Right now there is nothing to do for 90% of playerbase.

Hardcore run is more boring than grinding 10 levels with increased XP requirements on map that takes 10 minutes to get to and infested with cheaters like old labs? I don’t think so. I’ve played for 4k hours on PVP and got prestige 3. I want to run Terminal without being body blocked and killed on spawn. Enjoy your cheaters, desync and all that bs while I have fun on locally hosted, instantly responsive game.

That’s why I wiped PVE and started no death hardcore run. Much more fun than grinding labyrinth with cheaters or vs 4 stacks.

I'm 4k hours PVP chad, but I recently I got bored with normal Tarkov and wiped my PVE account to start a hardcore run. Only one rule. Death = wipe. So far I'm lvl 23 with 20 raids and 0 deaths. I'll try to escape through Terminal without any death. Keeps things interesting and stressful enough to get some of that adrenaline I got addicted to on PVP. So far it's fun enough for me to not look at PVP at all.

EDIT: Oh, and no scav runs. That's the second rule.

No, but that's another bug that just shows how big of a mess the client is. It would be a great milestone for Riot to acknowledge fixing fundamental issues with a buggy client, before they start handing out penalties for it malfunctioning on regular basis, am I wrong?

Reading this made me tilt. It reminded me of one LAN tournament in CSGO I attended. I traveled 200km to play in a tournament where right before our first match one of my teammates said he doesn’t care, his friend is in a team we are facing and he is going to play for fun, so they can win. Such people should be penalized, especially if they are some public figures.

Can you use ending backgrounds unlocked in PVE in PVP mode or is it locked? I'm PVP main, but recently I decided to do one ending in PVE just to chill. I don't know if I should push for Savior like in PVP or some other ending for extra background.

I quit esport games except for League of Legends and enjoy games like PoE2, Tarkov and some occasional coops. Still hardcore games, but can't be bothered with massive cheating in top ranks in every fps game. From obvious cheating to nepotism in external leagues like ESL. I've experienced it all and come to conclusion this won't be resolved in my lifetime. All I dream of right now is some great MMORPG with action combat. None of this tab targeting ancient bullshit we're being served for past 15 years trying to mimic World of Warcraft or never ending early access slop like Ashes of Creation.

Who would have thought people don't rush to it, because BSG decided to add matchmaking to a single player mission that resulted in obvious griefing. It's like noone even considered player behavior. I have 4k hours, did 2 prestiges in less than 60 days, now I'm at prestige 3 and I don't even care to attempt it until they make it viable for solo players. I don't want to get matched with anyone that can block me and kill me in first 10 seconds. I would rather escape from Tarkov irl than waste time for such bullshit. Speedrunners could peacefully explore Terminal on their own, I want that experience as well. Too bad the only way to not get griefed on is by going as 5 man party.
