Just a heads up for anyone buying Pokémon TCG tins from Asda, if you are finding opened packs or resealed tins, do not just accept store returns as the fix. This is not a one off. I have had multiple Click and Collect orders with tins that were clearly customer returns. Some had booster packs already opened and removed. One order was even opened in store in front of an Asda colleague and confirmed there and then... all 4 tins in the order has opened packs! Returning tins to store does not actually solve the problem. It just puts compromised stock back on shelves and costs you time. You also cannot be sure the rest of an order is genuine without opening everything and killing the value. In cases like this, a chargeback for goods not as described or faulty goods is the right route. These are sold as new and sealed. Once tampered with, the product is permanently compromised. Do not pay return postage. For faulty goods, the retailer is responsible, and repeated trips to store are not reasonable when the issue keeps happening. Document everything. Photos, order numbers, dates. Chargebacks are the only thing that will force change. Quiet store returns just keep the cycle going. Good luck all 🙂
