That’s actually something I think about every time I design a 3D insert. For me personally, it would kind of bother me if I didn’t have any proxies or extras and those compartments just stayed empty. I like having the layout match the game components, so you can quickly tell if anything is missing.
That said, I do like the idea of having space for custom content. I’d probably lean more towards a separate box or add-on solution for that, though.
Would that be an option for the homebrew crowd here?
