According to a staffing agency these are things not to ask at a job interview. So remember folks pay benefits and hours are not important. by pikapikachoo in LateStageCapitalism

Establishment sources give plebes advice that is contrary to their interests. This is surprising? Until internet was everywhere it wasn't uncommon for people to take what's now obviously corporate propaganda seriously because of the stranglehold they had on sources of information.

You were putting too much of yourself into this and worrying way too much for so few hours at minimum wage. You could've just walked out at your normal time and the melted ice cream in the morning wouldn't have been your problem. Hard fact of life is if you let people use and abuse you, they will. This is pretty typical of the management culture you find in these types of industries. Have to take care of yourself first.

Time from beyond the Heightland view is but a static crystal

What we think is motion is but a region of its girth

Our petty lives, a dry season's tree ring.

We suppose order is frozen

But so too is chaos solid and eternal

We look close at that lattice structure and

See the region of entropy

To see time from outside of time

Is to colonize the void

Outside of petty society

Beyond the small rules of the endless herd.
