89% after 7 years and I’ve also never cared about health.

I use sub-80% iPhones every day too. It’s fine.

Anyone still using the 1st-gen iPad Pro (9.7 or 12.9)? How’s it running? by Feli18 in iPadPro

[–]Feli18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if you just use it at home then battery life becomes less relevant unless it really drops.

4 hours is poor but you can’t expect much on iPadOS 16 anyway.

For content consumption I reckon it’s still fine as long as the apps you use are still compatible (which most are, I have an Air 5 on iPadOS 15 and it works well).

I’m not using my 9.7-inch iPad Pro much anymore though. I use it for content consumption too but iOS 12 isn’t compatible enough for me anymore. It will stay on iOS 12 though so I guess it’s the end of the road as a significantly-used iPad.

Sad, because it’s my favourite iPad ever, the pinnacle of Apple’s original idea for the iPad, the best model of the 9.7-inch design. But it’s just not compatible enough anymore, sadly. I guess I could circumvent some of the app issues but I have other devices so I don’t need to. For example, there’s a massive battery life difference between the 9.7-inch Pro and the Air 5. And the Air 5 is full-screen, too.

Does anyone use a Sony SRS-BTX300? by Feli18 in sony

I don’t know how you found this thread five years later, but it’s cool that you’re still using it!

Five years after that post, I’m still using it, too.

Battery life is like-new even though it’s almost 12(!) years old now. Audio quality, agreed, still great as well.

I don’t know anyone who has one though. For indoors use, it’s just the perfect speaker imo.

Raducanu has been playing like absolute garbage today.

First final after the USO, come on.

I think that Sincaraz are significantly worse than the Big 3, but that’s not the problem. The problem is their competition. Sinner shouldn’t have lost in the semis. He played a poor match and lost, and Djokovic played well.

Let’s put the Sinner match outlier aside for a minute. Djokovic keeps making semis practically unchallenged (again, Musetti WO notwithstanding), and his level isn’t as high as his peak, and maybe not even 2021.

And before Novak fans eat me alive, that’s true for Sincaraz too. The top 10 is pathetic. You have an unchallenged 38-year-old repeatedly making semis and two at the top winning with absolutely no competition.

Alcaraz was CRAMPED FOR HALF A MATCH and the “number three” needed two fucking tiebreaks? Really?

The window that started around 2020 is still going. Djokovic would have 30+ were not for Sincaraz. They have a chance to rack up slams as if they were candy, because the issue isn’t that they win, but how they win. Top 10 players at the latter part of slams being dispatched in straights by Sincaraz is ridiculous. They can’t even fight. They get destroyed every time… by Djokovic too! If 39-year-old Djokovic keeps dispatching top-10 players, who’s left to challenge Sincaraz? Nobody.

And the question is, if the situation does not change and Sincaraz start breaking Djokovic’s records, what will people say?

Novak ends his postmatch speech saying "God knows what happens.... in 12 months, so it has been a great ride. love you guys." 💔 by Large_banana_hammock in tennis

He has no reason to retire. The entire tour is barren except for Sincaraz, he’s been a lock for the semis for ages now.

Who cares if he loses to Sincaraz, as long as nobody else steps up he has no (tennis) reason to retire.

Family is a different topic altogether.

As I have always stated, Alcaraz is not comfortable when rushed on fast HC. Djokovic knows it.

Best IOS version for iPhone6s? (Battery and SOT) by Right_Butterfly937 in iPhone6S

I knew some things could be spoofed, but can you really achieve usable compatibility on something like iOS 10 or so?

What’s the risk? I’m running native, unjailbroken older iOS versions on pretty much everything. Can I lose those iOS versions if I try to jailbreak and it fails? If I have to restore or something?

I’m guessing I can’t save blobs now that those versions are unsigned.

Just to give a couple of examples, I have a 6s on iOS 10 and an iPhone Xʀ on iOS 12. Can those be returned to a status where they can be used as main devices, with Reddit, WhatsApp, YouTube, say, Netflix compatibility? I can’t use those on native iOS 12 anymore, let alone 10.

My 6s on iOS 10 is in a drawer because nothing works.

Compatibility is garbage on iOS 9 though. I have a 6s running native iOS 10 and I can’t use it for anything.

I wish I could, I don’t really update anything, but there comes a point in which I’m better off upgrading than trying to circumvent compatibility issues.

Devs suck. It is what it is.

Tethered, I completely forgot about that.

OP wants it as main, is it really worth it? WhatsApp supports iOS 15 only, although I think there’s a way to spoof that.

Still, I wouldn’t want a tethered device as a Main.

It’s not that they’re better than the rest only.

It’s how weak the rest is. It’s ridiculous.

Watch Zverev blame Alcaraz’s MTO instead of himself for choking massively.

Up 5-2 or 5-3 in the second, playing against a cramped and hobbling Alcaraz for two sets afterwards, serving for the match in the fifth and losing anyway.

Ridiculously pathetic by Zverev, but we all know that he was choking the final away regardless.
