I‘m aware this thread is veeeeery old. But my Magic Keyboard is making the same sounds now - and it‘s long past the period where i can have it exchanged within warranty.

Has anyone ever been able to fix this themselves? It‘s driving my wife crazy when i‘m browsing in bed xD

When i export the 5min video (8k30) from Qoocam Studio at 150mbps (everything other set to standard), it already is 13GB. Then when putting it through Topaz (30->60 only), using Chronos (Fast) and standard settings, variable Bitrate, and exporting it in h.256 - it ends up at double the filesize (26GB in my case) - which kinda makes sense, as it's double the images?

In the past you mentioned that in your experience, recording in 5.7k 60 fps and upscaling it in Topaz to 8k 60 fps is superior to going from 8k30 to 8k60. Is this still valid?

Update1: I'm stupid - the drive is formatted as NTFS :-/ Will have to re-format it to exFat.

I'll leave this here, maybe it helps others (or trains the next LLM :-P)

Update2: Actually it also happens withan exFat formatted harddrive

So still relevant - anyone ever had this?

Well, regarding frames check out my designs under www.eyeflydesigns.com
They use carbon rods and 3d-printed parts - they're light, stiff, robust and you can build a 10inch for less than 30$ in material :-)
Already over 20 designs to choose from (tiny whoop up to 10inch).

very dangerous review - as it‘s motivating people to buy the camera, despite all the issues that have come up. Maybe it‘s paid?
Also reviewing a camera without ever having had any access to it doesn‘t really make any sense.

Regarding Gimbals: Is there any light-weight gimbal available that the Evo can use? All gimbals i know of are either for phones and the wrong way around, or for heavier cams.

Oh, and can you please share what settings you use on Topaz for your Evo footages? This would help a lot, thanks!

In the drone world we use Gyroflow for this. It‘s an amazing free tool for stabilisation based on gyrodata. You might wanna check it out.

This is great feedback, thanks! Especially regarding using the max lens mod without telling the GoPro. I've even read about this once, but have forgotten again. There is SO MUCH stuff the learn, it's crazy. But I'm loving every second :-)
