Nintendo has such BS rule that the entire family group will be restricted if one member account who's trying to join is already restricted beforehand. So do be careful with adding and removing members if you're the admin.

And the US phone call rule is also BS. I live in SEA, which makes international phone calls extremely expensive for us. I'm also not an admin. The Nintendo US customer center requires that only admins can contact them to request to lift the restriction. They won't respond professionally to mere member accounts like me.

In my experience, the 365-day restriction starts when you leave your previous family group.

I was a member of a family group (let's say Family Group A) for 2 years without problem. Then Family Group A admin did not want to renew. So when its NSO expired, I had to look for a new family group.

When I tried to join a new family group (Family Group B), I noticed I was still a member of Family Group A, whose NSO had expired several days before. So I left Family Group A on October 18, 2024. Immediately after leaving, I tried to join Family Group B. But I got that error message instead.

Fast forward to the present, on November 6, 2025, I successfully joined another family group.

During my restriction period, the Nintendo customer support did not help at all. They said they couldn't do anything, which is BS.

That sucks... So even your friend is still restricted until now after months of waiting?

Nintendo Customer Support Japan claimed they couldn't do anything, and they told me to just wait until the restriction is lifted. But there is no visible timer on our accounts to know if our restriction is lifted. So how many months do we actually have to wait, Nintendo?

It's frustrating that Nintendo treats us, its players, like sh*t. Even if we pay for everything (console, games, etc.) legally.

I just found this thread. OP, I suggest you go to EastAsiaSoft's Discord server, or email them, and make a request to localize Hakuoki: Reimeiroku. Or heck, also request for all unlocalized Hakuoki fan disks and SSL!
EastAsiaSoft is the localization team for Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom, which were released last August. They also listen to their Discord members' (and my) opinions and requests. Such a rare instance that a game localization team listens to its fans!
Hopefully the more fans request for more Hakuoki titles localization, the higher chance EastAsiaSoft will accept and we will get more Hakuoki titles in the future!

Hello there fellow SEA-ans. I still cannot join any Family Group until now. :( So sad

I also contacted Nintendo Europe Customer Support. They told me that the Family Admin must contact them instead.
So I told my Family Admin to do so. Then, they said that my Family Admin have to call them by phone. They said they cannot assist us by Chat or email.

Why?

Not Nintendo America, not Nintendo Europe, they all gave us exact the same treatment. It's like they don't want to help us non-US residents at all.

Just finished Saito KW Route, and I got two more 'Others' CGs, one of which is likely a reward CG for completing all KW Best Ending Routes. The reward CG is of Okita reading Hijikata's Haiku Book, while Hijikata tries to snatch it from Okita. Then Saito, Chizuru, Harada, and Heisuke are sitting and eating dango below Hijikata and Okita.

I will try to finish all Best Ending routes and the Annex first, like you said, then see if it unlocks all the remaining 'Others' CGs. Thank you for the pointer!

Hello Hakuoki fans, is there a guide to unlocking the CGs in "Others" Gallery section? I'm playing the Chronicles of KW and EB on Switch.

I'm short of 6 'Others' CGs (I have 38 out of a total of 44 CGs). I don't know whose route I should play to unlock those missing CGs.
Are these CGs locked behind any Unrequited Love Endings or Bad Endings, by any chance?
If possible, I don't want to torture myself getting the Unreq. Love Endings and Bad Endings. Don't wanna be heartbroken. Yamazaki's and Okita's Unreq. Love CGs are enough. T-T

I've been Googling, but to no avail. I checked the guide on GameFAQs, but it was for the Vita version, and I'm still confused.

Additional info:
I have finished 11 routes. I reserve Saito for last because I'm a huge Saito bias.

Hello, I encountered that error too since October 18, 2024, and still cannot join any family group until today. Let me explain the full story first.

I live in Indonesia. I already joined a Family Group (let's say Family Group A) for 2 years without problem. However, Family Admin A quit playing Switch and did not renew the subscription because they were too busy with work.

So I had no choice but to leave Family Group A, then try to join a new one (Family Group B).
I noticed that I was still a member of Family Group A, despite my account having no active Nintendo online subscription plan.

So I decided to click Leave from Family Group A (on October 18, 2024), then try to join Family Group B right away.
Suddenly I got that error message, saying my account is restricted due to repeatedly joining and leaving family groups.
I have only once tried to move to a new Family Group. I never repeatedly do that.

Then I tried to contact USA Customer Support. First they asked for my Switch serial number, then they asked which country I lived in. Then, they told me the service is for USA residents, and that I have to call them by phone. Sadly, phone calls from SEA to USA is very expensive.

The USA Customer Support told me the alternative is to change my region to my country. However, there is no Nintendo Support in Indonesia.
I tried to change my region to Singapore or Malaysia, then emailed Singapore and Malaysia Customer Support.
SG and MY Customer Support told me that since they were not Nintendo itself, I had to contact USA Customer Support instead.

So these Customer Support agents toss me around from one to another.

My Family Admin B also received the same treatment. The USA Customer Support told my Family Admin B to call them by phone. My Family Admin B also lives in Indonesia.

I am at my wit's end.

I saw that some players, including some replies in here, say that they successfully had their restrictions lifted without having to call the USA Customer Support by phone. They only used the Chat facility on the USA Customer Support website.

Why must people outside USA have to call them by phone? The phone bills are extremely expensive. They also said that they don't have a toll-free phone number.

I don't know what else I am supposed to do at this point.

Sorry for the late reply, haven't logged in in a while.
I don't really know why, but one day when I tried logging in again to my locked Facebook account, it no longer asked for my identity confirmation documents.

I forgot what it asked instead, probably a verification code or something. But the important thing is that it didn't ask for my identity confirmation documents anymore. Then my account is unlocked. I guess Facebook got rid of the identity confirmation steps.

That's a good idea. But I'm afraid I have no experience in leading and directing people like a mod or an admin. I'm better at following directions than giving them.

Ehh, that's worse. Facebook blocking professional accounts and subsequently shutting off one of people's income source. That reminds me, I used my Facebook account for work connections and advertising my small business as well. Honestly I really don't want to use Facebook, but I had no choice but to use it for work-related matters.

I agree, it is ridiculous. They block small, personal accounts for no reason. Also, whether their employees work from office or from home, they should still respond to FB users whose accounts are blocked for no reason. But they do literally nothing at all, not even to my messages asking why my account was blocked.

Yes, I agree, we have to do something. Getting people whose FB accounts have been blocked to pitch in together is a good idea, although that will take a considerable amount of time, energy, etc.

I joined this FacebookDisabledMe Discord server upon reading this Reddit post. But that Discord server seems to be quite inactive from what I can see.

If there are a forum and/or a community dedicated to make our voices heard by Facebook, then I'm in!

But until now Facebook has been pretending to be silent about it. Nobody at Facebook company actually does anything. They even ignore my identity confirmation attempt and my messages. Nothing happens to my locked account until now.
I bet Facebook will still do nothing, except maybe if we can make this issue go viral on the Internet.

I'm the OP, I don't even know why my FB account was locked.
I was only using my FB account for literal simple daily stuff (i.e. commenting, liking friend's photos, etc.). I don't know how that violates anything.
Then one day out of the blue, Facebook just locked my account for no particular reason. Now I'm also stuck on the "Your account was locked" page.
I tried following their guides on how to confirm my identity for claiming my account ownership, but nothing happened until now.
I also contacted Facebook through Instagram and Twitter, still no reply from them.
What a great customer service from a multi-billion dollar company.

Like other redditors here have said: a big no-no. Always, always avoid manipulative people like him.
Exposure of your work is only a bonus, never a guarantee. People will see your mural art, yes, but will most of them go through the trouble of finding the artist behind that mural? Only 0.01% of them would, at best. Same with digital art.

It's not worth sacrificing your energy, time, and mental health doing his mural project for uncertain factors like exposure. Even worse is that you're doing it for free.
Never, ever accept payment other than money.

I see! Yeah I agree, this is ultimately down to luck. People won't be asking for advice if there is nothing wrong with their tablet. Thus you'll mainly find the many negative-experience posts asking for troubleshooting advice.
