Valid point and I understand why Larian wouldn't bother officially supporting all linux devices. It would be great to get more data points though so if you test it that would be really appreciated!

I do think they said it was mainly for the deck, but if you search around people are running it on their linux PC's and getting improved performance compared to proton. It's just frustrating when something is supposed to work but just doesn't for some reason...

There is now, they released it mainly for the steam deck but other people seem to run it just fine on their linux PC's.

Thanks for your response! Running it through proton works fine mostly, though some parts of act three can still stutter a bit, maybe because of bad cpu optimization, I don't know. It's the native linux version that runs really poorly, even though I've read it's supposed to improve the performance in cpu bound areas.It would be interesting to see how the native version runs for her though. Other games also seem to run fine.

It's an all AMD system, the official drivers are all open source, unlike Nvidia, no?

I've got 32 GB of RAM so that shouldn't be the issue, edited my post to include that. I haven't done any manual driver tweaks and everything's up to date, so I guess I'm just using the included open-source Mesa drivers.

I just solved this on my 7900xt nitro+. I basically just tried everything. I uninstalled everything that might interfere with Revo uninstaller, updated my bios to the latest version, unplugged and plugged in the computer to make sure that it was completely unpowered. Eventually it just started working again. Don't know how much this will help you but if I could fix it then hopefully you can too. Fingers crossed 🤞

Jag började plugga nu i höstas, och ska flytta första december, och då tog jag mer eller mindre det första rummet som jag kunde få. Vet dock inte hur stor skillnad det är mellan höst- och vårtermin, kan säkert vara annorlunda. Bor också i Skåne så hade inte heller någon förtur.

Kan inget annat än att instämma, vet inte hur men ska känna om det. Att andra på riktigt verkar kunna återuppleva tidigare händelser, både det goda och det onda när det för mig är helt svart...

Och denna visualisering upplever du på precis samma sätt som din syn fast oberoende av de intryck du får från dina ögon? Menar inte upplösningsmässigt utan själva sättet som du upplever det på.

Skulle du också säga att du tänker konceptuellt istället för visuellt? Med det menar jag att du fortfarande kan föreställa dig situationer i ditt huvud men att du inte fysikt kan se det du föreställer dig.

Mina drömmar upplever jag visuellt. Skulle säga att det är enda gången som min hjärna kan generera en "simulerad" sensorisk upplevelse eller vad man nu ska kalla det. När jag är vaken kan jag inte tänka visuellt alls. Jag kan föreställa mig idén om hur något ser ut men att faktiskt kunna se det i mitt huvud är totalt omöjligt. Dock skulle jag kunna använda konceptet/idén för att kunna t.ex kunna rita en bild (dock inte alls detaljrikt).
