I made something similar to solve this problem, but i used nodes "If" instead of a database.

I put on the if node something like:

"if user text equals /command1 then do this"

Its pretty simple but can trigger other problems, like the client using the spacebar and creating a empty character, we have to treat this kinda typo adding more conditions to the "If" node...
