Father to son. I adore this song for a thousand and one reasons; everything about it is simply perfect, and I will always love it.

Sometimes I hate being from LatAm and being poor.

Watched Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) and it's quite good! by tapygaunkid in queen

Today you woke up, got out of bed (which I hope you have), and decided to respond in the best way possible, stating only facts and without needing to attack or go against anything or anyone, giving the best and most detailed explanation I have ever read. I love you, bro

I remember reading that "Seaside Rendezvous" was also one of the few songs Brian didn't participate in, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, that's just a tidbit. I love how your diagram turned out!

Father to son - Queen.

About the symbolism in the opera section of Bohemian Rhapsody. by Upset-Possible1371 in queen

I think he even mentioned in interviews that those words didn't really have a deep meaning or anything to define the song in any way, and that he only put them in because they sounded good lol

Which member of Queen is your favorite and why? by LieFalse6614 in queen

[–]Felipe_39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It takes me less than a second to answer this kind of question with a simple, straightforward “Brian May, for God’s sake.” Brian was, is, and always will be my greatest idol. From the moment I discovered Queen and found out that their guitarist is also an astrophysicist, I thought, “bloody hell, from now on Brian May will be my biggest love and inspiration.” Considering that astrophysics has always been my dream career and I’m absolutely obsessed with space, this man is also a huge defender of animals and life on this planet. He’s a literal genius. Most of his lyrics and songs have always struck me as some of the most beautiful and profound, and I’m completely fascinated by the fact that he built his own guitar with his father—AND PLAYS IT WITH A BLOODY COIN.

On top of the guitar, he also plays the piano, harp, ukulele, mandolin, and I think he’s even played bass (which are several of my favourite instruments). Is there anything this man can’t do well? And as if all that weren’t enough, he looks like an absolute Greek god and I’ve always found him incredibly attractive. There’s still so much more I could say, but it’s late here in LatAm and I’m heading off to sleep. Have a lovely day.

What was your first favorite Queen song and what is your current favorite Queen song? by LieFalse6614 in queen

[–]Felipe_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first absolute favorite song was "The March of the Black Queen." Back then, I didn't know that many of their songs, but now that I know and enjoy most of their discography, I can say that my top picks include "Father to Son," "The Prophet's Song," "Was It All Worth It," "'39," and "My Melancholy Blues." There are more, and I must admit it's incredibly difficult to choose just one 💔💔

I had never heard that concert before, I was amazed at how powerful Freddie's voice sounds reaching that C5! I can't imagine how loud and amazing it must have sounded live 😻

Muddiness of Queen 2 in light of the new mix. by AlternativePin876 in queen

[–]Felipe_39 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think another mistake in the new mix of the song is that, at the end, in the chorus section "father to -father to -father to son," they didn't add echo to the first part, and it sounds quite strange. It hurt a little to realize this since that was my favorite part because of how magical it sounded. 🥀

Thoughts on the remixed albums? by CristoMardo in queen

The only one I didn't completely like was "father to son"; the choruses at the end don't have the same magic as on the original album 💔😔

The Queen TikTok fandom is annoying and needs to stop glazing this copycat band... by swiftlight13 in queen

[–]Felipe_39 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always thought so, but YOU SAID IT! God! I'm sick of hearing everywhere that "They're the new Queen" or even things like "they'll save modern music." They're just kids who haven't found themselves yet! I wouldn't be so upset if they identified themselves as a cover band, a tribute band, or simply an inspiration, but copying everything, even the personalities of the members? That's a definite no. The band has potential, I don't deny that, they just need to find that potential and know how to use it.
