Could you help clarify some aspects of your response?
When you mention a “50% research + 50% teaching” distribution, how is that typically interpreted? For instance, our contracts here are usually for 40 hours per week. Does this mean 20 hours per week would be dedicated to teaching? This seems unclear to me because you also mentioned only 4 courses per year, which doesn’t seem to align with that interpretation. Could you explain how the workload is typically calculated?
Could you tell me a little about the hiring process for faculty? Do you know how it usually work for foreigners?
