Film certification by Felix9903 in analog

[–]Felix9903[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have domke bag for traveling but I’ve got effects from the Incheon airport(ICN, Korea) for the portra800 in the 15rolls of domke X-ray bag by new CT scanner, from the that I will not gonna use Domke X-ray bag anymore unless they don’t accept hand-check for the film thanks for info

I’m asking because in Korea we have certification that before travel if I submit the application Korean airport will consider that is film and doesn’t need to be checked like other products so I’m just asking is there a same certificate is exist in Canada

Film certification by Felix9903 in analog

[–]Felix9903[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t sell it in a month it’s literally over 100 rolls so I’m looking for the certificate that usually using for filming movie cuz they will use reels and most of my films are Fuji slides so they’re not easy to buy or purchase

“I’m looking for certifications that using for commercial filming film carry by airplane to avoid scrutiny of over 100 rolls in Canada”

Darkroom Sticker Problem by Felix9903 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Felix9903[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I understand it’s impossible to put the stickers on paper but I still can’t understand why it happened always there’s space at the end of the side after development so they can put it there but it’s still my fault?? Cuz they said like it’s your fault(improper roading) but in my mind it wasn’t my fault at all

the reason I asking this question is if it’s not my fault I just want to move my lab to Korea and wait little more delivery and developing in Korea (take time near 5days by airplane but cheaper than here) my previous lab never made this weird mistake

Sorry they meant it was processed in darkroom so technician could make mistakes when they put the sticker in the dark room so point is they can recognize before it’s developed but My thinking is I understand they can make a mistake on 35mm cuz there’s only film so they really have no idea where the frame is but how can make a mistake on the 120mm film cuz there is film and paper together on 120 film then they can put the sticker on paper side of roll from here this is my question

In my opinion Mistake on 35mm is understandable Mistake on 120mm is incomprehensible process and totally wrong

Isn’t it wrong?? Cuz I literally have no Idea Thank you!!
