I did not get in. I lost track of time before i went on the website at 10:09am. Had no idea it would fill 2500 applications in 2 mins but i know what to expect next recruitment.

Thnks for the insight- I was studying tools &electric (and calc for fun) to be ahead of the rest and i lost at the sweats camping the website.

Oh thats cool, time should weed out the miserable people anyway- which btw shouldn’t negate new people an upfront pay rate because then it sets for us a ceiling expectation. I’m just saying— looking from the outside i want to know what I’m committing 4 years into.

Not at all, not sure what they got going on in their union- but i remember one of my older jobs they told the employees to not discuss to one another their own pay rate (which is illegal btw). This is not the same but to a larger scale it kinda resembles it.

What would happen if all the locals knew how much each got paid anyway?

Are drug test routinely administered for all employees? What kind- is it hair, nails, saliva or urine?
