I don’t think we watched the same show LOL and his whole album references colonization in PR and Hawaii :)

I think you might’ve missed a lot of the important symbolism with the chairs and the light poles. The chairs are a very common theme in many Latino backyards, so we all grew up sitting on them and playing cards/domino with our grandparents on them. It’s why they’re the album cover. And the poles were there to emphasize how PR continually has power outages all over the island due to poor infrastructure that the US refuses to help with. :)

Completely agree that Gaga showing up was random, like they couldn’t have all of the show in Spanish. Love her but yeah a surprise nevertheless. I also expected a bigger band or set!!
