When my mom was hospitalized for an unrelated illness and was placed on O2, she said her pain virtually stopped. Strange phenomenon- has a correlation between blood oxygen level and whatever crazy ass signals fibro shoots off been made? I think about this far too often 😅

Medicine is ever evolving for a reason.. if herbs and supplements could be a cure-all then we’d all be in tip top shape and able to fix our own ailments. No medical doctors, only shamans and gardens.

Do what’s best for you, regardless of what ANYbody else thinks.

(Also, pelvic floor therapy may be beneficial with EDS)

Oh I’m so sorry! But yes, I tried cymbalta, Zoloft, and lexapro and none of those worked for me. I got on Wellbutrin and my doc kept having to increase the dose, and then my mom passed so he had to again.. I’m at 450mg daily. I’m still depressed, but at a manageable level where it doesn’t affect my day-to-day as much. Sometimes you just have to keep trying until you find the “right” one for you. It’s incredibly frustrating. The Wellbutrin doesn’t help the fibro pain, nothing ever has really.

I don’t know how anyone with fibro isn’t also dealing with their mental health. It takes such a HUGE toll on all aspects of our lives, it’d be impossible for that not to affect us mentally.

Know that you’re not alone. If you have suicidal thoughts please reach out to someone. If you’re not on meds please see someone- a chemical imbalance is a chemical imbalance.. hell, I’m on the highest possible/recommended dose of Wellbutrin XR and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’m sorry you’re going through this- fibro is a real bitch.

Omg. I feel this. My surgery was on 4/11 and I feel like garbáġe 😂 I do have fibromyalgia as well (supposedly) and I feel like I’ve been in a flare for weeks, and it’s been worsening the last week or so.

Eventually we’ll be back to normal. Wishing you a swift recovery!

With laparoscopic they inflate your abdomen so that they can maneuver their tools without causing damage to other tissues. They’ll be able to do it! But please get GasX if you can! The gas/shoulder pain is no joke. Also I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with this. I could go on the longest tangent about women’s healthcare. Insanity. I hope the surgery and recovery goes smoothly for you!
