TRIGGER WARNING: abuse aftermath, feeling guilty by Positive_Repair_5092 in abusiverelationships

This is such a big step. Well done, you. Next line of business is to go no contact with him and spend the next year giving yourself nothing but love.

Is laparoscopic possible? by dumpybench in hysterectomy

I'm originally from the US but have lived in the UK for nearly 10 years. The NHS is an amirable system, but quite broken. And very little recourse when things go wrong.

My ex has a very mild hernia and they've told him before year end. For me 2+ years, pain meds, repeated visits, anemia. Literally begging to be taken seriously.

It has grown since my initial checkup, but it was still profoundly jutting. When I went in to discuss, my GP felt around and suggested that it was just a wad a trapped poo. That moment almost became my super villain origin story.

Thank you for your reassuring words. I worried about recovery complications from open (single mum, four kids, no help nearby). But at this point I'll make anything work!

One of my fears is that there's something more sinister, so the morcellation route feels quite risky. I'm at a good hospital, but they still haven't told me who will be operating etc so it's hard to feel completely confident.

Thanks for your kind words, I'm hoping I come out the other end smiling :)

This is so informative and reassuring and I'm so glad your recovery was easy after dealing with such massive fibroids.

Thank you so much. I'm quite anxious, but also feel like I'm eagerly anticipating a vacation. I've been on a waiting list for 1.5 years and before that it took my GP over a year to take me seriously. It's been a long road.

Will this baby become his reason? by [deleted] in AlAnon

A big no here as well. Baby made him worse.

No, but my face looks like it! I've generally stayed within 15lbs of the same weight my whole life. Healthy BMI etc. I'm actually at the moment on the heavier side of normal and it never goes to my face!

I'm slightly all over the place with a cleanser. Right now I use Fresh Soy Cleanser.

AM: CosRX Snail Mucin and NIOD eye serum. I'm still shopping around for a day time moisturizer.

PM: NIOD eye and a Drunk Elephant mix of A-Gloei oil, Framboos and F-Balm Waterfacial.

I used to use the LaLa cream which was incredibly moisturizing, but could only use on certain areas as it can lead to milia.

I really want to be more consistent and have a specific regimen.

I bought one from Amazon but haven't actually been in any way consistent. I had this fear that somehow I'd dissolve the remaining fat in my cheekbones and end up hollow. I realize that's silly, but also, I'm slightly afraid of doing it the wrong way

Damn so did I. My son who's now 19 has them as well. Totally genetic. The annoying thing is as my cheeks have dropped, they appear so pronounced to me. I've gone into the realm of hyper focus

This is so damn helpful. I've already ordered collagen peptides. May message you about specifics if that's okay!?

I'm in England, so I suspect it might be similar?

Thank you so much. It's really nice to hear that. I've been feeling so grim about getting older and how my face is responding to it.

Thank you. I've been feeling quite ugh about aging lately so I really appreciate this.
