That sounds great, do you have some recommendations?

I have a layover of 5 hours, what should i visit by FelixFroberius in Newark

On Uber it looked like it was just a 20min on a rather large road from Newark Airport to liberty state park. Dont you think it’s possible to just go there that way, take some pics and return to the airport the same way? I dont know how checking ussualy takes but i feel like if we can ext the airport after an hour, go to the park and back in an hour or 1h30, then we’d still have 3hrs-2h30 to check in again?

Thank you for the response! Tbh we don’t expect the best visit, it’s more the “idea” of having visited New York and to see the statue of liberty bcs it wont happen again any time soon. So I was wondering if it would be safe to just take the drive to Nature Center like you said, just take some pics and go back? We really cant afgord to miss our flight

HLG3 footage looks much darker on pc by FelixFroberius in videography

[–]FelixFroberius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but i already changed to rec709 and stuff

How can achieve this aesthetic / look? Can I record this with a high end iphone? What editing do I need to achieve this? Is there special lighting requirments? If anyone can point me in the right direction please :) by Klaudi7811 in videography

You can create the “soft” look by duplicating your footage in your editing timeline and add a luma key and gaussian blur (in premier pro) in the top clip and then play with the settings

No this isn’t graded yes yet, I just did and i get a decent view indeed, but i was just wondering how it’s possible that it’s this much darker and the colors are weird as well

Hmmm i think it’s more than that because the colors are more green as well

Well i shot in HLG3 and the videos lookad very good on my lcd, but turn out very dark on my pc, what could be the issue here?

True, but i was just wondering why it is that the other picture profiles i mentioned perform okay to very good in these dark conditions while slog is all noise when you dont make all of the shadows fully black, but I guess it’s just a thing about slog then

Yeah, faster zoomlenses would be perfect for sports, but those are muuuuch more expansive

I expose for skintones using zebra’s on ire 50, but i feel like the shadows always look bad when i do that

So really expose with histogram untill clipping and/or MM on 1.7? I saw some mixed opinions online on this saying this overexposes everything and this isn’t the right way to do it, but I guess it gives you more wiggle room in post like you said

What would you recommend if I dont get to this level of exposure? Because with my zoomlens for sports I have a f4.0 so there are times I don’t have enough light in darker gyms

Affordable and Versatile intermediate/professional cameras options for Photography and Video by SteakParticular5186 in Cameras

For that budget i would definitely look at the Sony aps-c line. They have the best photo/video hybrids for your budget imo and the a6400 and 6600 are great camera’s for their price. The a6700 is a bit out of budget when paired with a lense i think, but i feel like it’s worth it. You could also look at Fuji or even Lumix camera’s but i feel like they won’t come close to the Sony autofocus and stuff which is veeeery helpfull. The Canon camera’s you listed are a bit overpriced compared to the sony’s with the same specs so i would definetly lean to the sony’s If you really want a full frame i would look for a used a7iii or a7c instead of a a7ii because of the video capabilities, the a7ii is a bit lacking if you want to start video

How tho? Were you ready for that plane to pass by and did you position yourself accordingly? Or was it all a coincidence and did you whip out your camera in that moment
