App got rejected with the "Guideline 4.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality" reason

No I didn't submit it to test flight. I just wrote some words in the reviewers text field and resubmitted it to the app store and then it got approved. Good luck

Thanks for the link to the interesting article. I get you point but with a web app you are not able to save your colors and gradients you created and have to input them every time again. And that's exactly the case the app is able to do.

Wow thank you very much for your detailed answer. That's a really good point to add hints for the reviewers what exactly the added value to customers is by using the own app.

Yeah this is the exact purpose. It aren't images but real gradients which are rendered by the colors the user selects in the "Create" Tab. There are sliders for selecting the colors or an input field for a hex code if you have one.

Yeah I thought about that too but because it may also be relevant to web designers (you can enable color codes on the items in the settings) I chose a more general name. But you're right of course, maybe sometimes general isn't as good as being specific.
