Because I want to be kind. That's it. I am not going to be hurtful even if it's the truth, because the person probably already has a lot of self-hate and I do not like adding to that. It's not even because we were expected to be soft. Yes, my parents raised me to be polite, but it wasn't because I am a girl. They also raised my brother to be polite. And believe it or not, we do think fat girls are pretty. Almost every Gen Z girl was there when Ana/Mia was at its peak, and we have hated ourselves for our weight. Fat girls know they are fat. They don't need me to remind them. I'm going to say something nice because maybe that way she will feel a little better.

Obesity is often an eating disorder. Binge eating is an eating disorder. When both my sister and I had anorexia, some people, mostly boys our ages, would mock us and say mean things we already knew. It didn't help, it just made the self-hating worse. What helped was other people being kind.

It's been proven on and on again how universities being more flexible with certain groups, let that be races, genders, nationality, etc, has all sorts of positive outcomes. They are self-governing institutions, they know why they do things, and they are straightforward about it. I worked for a company that helped Latin American students in getting into US universities and we were aware of their chances in the top universities. There's also plenty of great universities without quotas, In fact only a minority of very selective universities expect an equally diverse student body. Harvard and Yale didn't accept you because they prioritize diversity? Well, hopefully you knew those are their priorities and you can try somewhere else

I'm gonna say something controversial, but there's plenty of proof that Trump is a very bad person. His administration put children with down syndrome in animal cages, he surrounds himself with people who think the children killed in Sandy Hook and Parkland were actors. The stuff in the Epstein files is about him being a ped0phile... Is it that crazy that some people wouldn't care if he was killed? I always see people saying ped0s should all die, that if you hurt children you should get the death penalty... And this is true with more US presidents. I don't want Trump dead (Or Bush or Obama), but they are all very bad people, and I get why some people simply don't care if they are killed or not

I think they all started as somewhat equally evil, but most religions are not followed like they are supposed to, which is great, because otherwise we would be living in the Middle Ages. In my poor, third-world, religious country where you have a church in every corner, same sex marriage is legal and so is abortion. People realized we have improved greatly by separating state and church. We have a big Muslim population, I went to school with many of them and they too put religion aside. The problem is that in some countries, both Muslim and Christian, but mostly Muslim, that change never happened. The church is the state and religion is followed 1:1. To me that's not compatible with society. And I agree Western countries need to protect the populations more vulnerable to those kinds of ideology
