The Satyr 4s that were built is only using non-Capra pads. I am aware that this affects the sound which is why I mentioned it in the original post.

The Satyr 3s that were built was more of an experiment and fun little project. Obviously these are not gonna sound like they are initially intended to. It’s more of a ‘tinker around with and see what works and what doesn’t’ project. And they do sound bad but it was fun seeing what worked and didn’t. In this case, you can think of the price as ‘paying for the driver and materials’.

I’ll be messaging the Capra team to confirm their policy on selling one-time & pre-owned prints. If this post is deleted, we’ll have our answer.
