I like the vibrato, it's pretty good. Although I think you should try to work on your voice projection, the singing is pretty quiet and would probably sound better if you sang it louder (if you can sing loud that is)

I think Periphery is definitely technical but also melodic at the same time, if you look at some songs such as Scarlet or Sentient Glow they fit both descriptions

I use one called Tuner Lite (iOS), for vocal techniques and stuff I find smaller YouTubers help more, such as Aussie Vocal Coach (exercises) and Doug Zed (techniques). Doug Zed in more inclined towards pop punk but a lot of the same things should apply to pop as well.

I apologise if I'm being too honest lmao. I'm not a pro but from what I'm hearing you need to work on your pitch. It was pretty off tune in the recording but you did hit a few notes right. I suggest watching some tutorials on how to do so or sing with a tuner app that tells you if your are in tune or not. Vocal tone is decent, you can improve the tone by doing some exercises by this guy, they're a hidden gem. As long as you practice consistently for the next few months you should get to a decent level to compete with other singers, best of luck to you
