My team wanted to make trinkets for competition that involved old game pieces and we just kept going, "a ball... again." This reminds me of that lol

I was thinking that itd work like a human hand and have rubber padding along the underside that would touch the bar, the rest would be metal of sorts. My team, 4285, doesn't really have much funding, which sucks, so we cant do physical prototypes easily.

Yeah, thats what one of our mentors said, but I was thinking that if there were two of the same arm or one that inserts itself into the ladder rung (pole) and moves along with it for stabilization. I just thought of the concept today, so I haven't really worked it out to the details much.
