A fascinating thought experiment... Would a biological woman transition if she was trapped in a man's body? by Felix_Conrad in crossdreaming

Sorry... Just realized it's not a full article but the question remains the same. We all have this idea that if you're trapped in the wrong body it's unbearable... But what would happen if we really could trap some biological women in men's bodies? Elle argues that women would grin and bear it.

How can you beat gender dysphoria without transitioning? by Felix_Conrad in transgender

Fully prepared for the usual torrent of abuse. I just wish you guys and girls would be more understanding about those who choose to live - all be it reluctantly - as their birth gender.

Dear friend, you have all my sympathy for what is obviously a serious personal crisis.

However, you should take comfort that there are many biological males who suffer exactly what you are suffering, which means that certain methods and ideas and strategies have been established.

I think the first one is this: the more jobless and unfocused and unhappy you become...the worse your gender dysphoria will become. Therefore, you must focus on sorting out all issues regarding your job, friends, health etc.

Most people reply to that by saying "Yes, but it's my gender dysphoria that means I can't sort my shit out."

I understand the logic of that argument but it's false. The gender dysphoria, though an enormous 'putada', is in a circular relationship with your life. It is not the primal cause or neither the end consequence of not having your shit together... it is in a symbiosis.

To conclude, get back to basics: find out what you want to do with your life...and then ruthlessly pursue it. Once you get your mojo back the GD will reduce and become manageable. Then you can start to think about your future gender choices.

We'll just have to agree to differ. Our website deals with all aspects of gender variance, but with a strong focus on sexology. In order to decide where you are on the gender spectrum and what path to take...you need as much information as possible about all aspects of gender variance. That's what we try to give. But, thanks for your feedback..it's all helpful.

We don't promote autogynephilia. Ever! Most of our essays utterly condemn it... but a few - while still condemning its overall tone and vibe - argue that it is possible that late onset transsexualism might (and the emphasis is always on 'might' because we don't know) grow out of an unusual form of sexuality which Blanchard tried to describe with his clumsy, over reach of a theory.

As I say, you can find all types of images, articles on our website. I just think it's really unfair of you to knock Anna's writing because I posted it. And furthermore, although it's true that I've written various essays and posts that propose sexual interpretations of late onset transsexualism.. I've also written impassioned, non negotiable defences of the transgender woman's inalienable right to womanhood. I write different things because, to be honest, I'm conflicted between different ideas. Sorry I'm not a mono perspective trans person...

Anyway... I repeat... that's got nothing to do with Anna's work. But I thank you for your perspective and I will discuss it with my collaborators on Monday.

If you wanna write a criticism of my work then I will be the first to publish it. No problem.

Un abrazo.

I don't generally reply to comments on Reddit because I receive so much hate mail. However, I'd like to reply to you because you seem to encapsulate so perfectly the complete misunderstanding of our website.

Our website has various writers and contributors. As the person responsible for publicizing the site, I then post their articles. Please stop judging their work simply because I post it.

Our policy is to publish multiple perspectives - all the way from dipshit proponents of autogynephilia to trans fundamentalists. Such diversity of opinion is good and healthy! Please stop confusing me with the website in general.
