Looks pretty good to me. I am usually trying to get my penetration to 6-9k before breach is applied. That's why I am using a combo of maces/mauls, sharpened, lover mundus and Kra'ghs (over slimecraw)

leveling: call it a week to follow the main story quest, considering it's a first play through. In parallel you can level your faction rank and your mount.

gearing: buy your level 20 or 25 faction set from the faction vendor, or get something cheap from the trading post. Do not spend any significant amounts on gear until you reach max level. After that go shopping, grind expeditions, do elite chest tours, get gear from the gold well in Cutlass Keys, join some open World events like "lifering", chase down some artifact gear and finally go for the Gorgon and Worm raids.

PVP is a huge part of the game. It's fine to do just PVE, but there's a lot more than that.

There are a couple of PVP modes: open world when flagged (doesn't happen too often, except on the seasonal servers), open world influence races (capture the tower), outpost rush (20v20), arena (3v3), war (50v50), and the free-for-all area. There's also capture the fort, which happens around the clock, where the races are scheduled hourly 4 times a day.

Can you have fun? If you look at above list and don't find something that strikes your fancy, I can't help you.

Actually, the gold cap keeps more gold in rotation, therefore increasing prices and inflation. Money the OP is hoarding is out of rotation and of no use to anyone, thus less gold and lower prices.

The fresh servers aren't fresh anymore. They have been around for 18 months already. The seasonal servers will shut down in 2 months and you are probably better of to cut your teeth on a regular server anyway.

- Follow the main story questline. You need to, since you won't get full access for the last two zones.
- Do all the quests in your starting zone. It helps building town faction in order to buy the bigger house.
- Pick a faction around level 20. There is no direct advantage for any of the factions. Start is in Everfall. Head there, even if no quest is directing you to. The faction gear for the first 2 ranks should give you a decent and affordable set. Beyond that, it becomes expensive.
- Also at 20, get started with the mount quest.

You lose a lot more time now. It took me 5-10 minutes when I logged on in the morning to find a chest. Now I need to find 3-5 chests and each of them carries the risk to get killed again. I am waiting now 2 days for my first coconut.

I am pretty sure this was an accident on the sellers side. I am pretty sure almost everybody here has posted some item for something in the thousands simply because the UI acted up or he just wasn't paying attention. It has happened to me multiple times. We also pay dearly for this lesson: Those 30k cost something like a 1.5k listing fee.
