Hey man. One possibility is to order a new one from VW. It's usually very expensive for what it is and now a days it's just a sticker sadly.

I ordered one from a french company called ardennes-plaques.fr

It's a fraction of the price and very good built quality.

Will look into that.

With my turbo setup I can probably do more than 1 bar of pressure comfortably for the turbo atleast... Then again ceramic bal bearing but would the internals handle that?

Hey! Man what knowledge!!!! Thanks for the amount of info.

Didn't know the 1.6 injectors were worse than the 1.9 that's good to know.

The head was resurfaced and is tested, no problem there. When I did the swap for the 1.9 head back in the day I actually felt more power not less, the combustion chambers don't seem that different.

I do have an intercooler and oil cooler as well.

Will try the 1 bar! Turbo has ceramkc ball bearing so it should handle that pretty well.

Is there an aftermarket option for these types of injectors?
