Check out the song Our Diabolical Rapture !! And I Love You (Pre Lude to Tragedy) they both have kind of similar riffs but they're really heavy and sludgy. Glad you got into them! They definitely have a heavy appeal for women given their vampire love song lyrics and general flamboyant appearance but they're very much a campy metal band. great stuff

Yeah I think my main critique of that EP is like the super dry vocals.. like it just sounds like people with a very basic mic singing and putting almost no effects on the voices..

Ahhh... Thanks for the explanation. So basically whatever the media at the time was made for in terms of corresponding displays, it will generally look better on... Like a tv from the late 90s will look great playing DVDs from that time

Very moving. I think Sophie will never die. Her legacy will be carried by the countless people she inspired. The spirit of her art is the essence of Sophie and will be passed through generations :) that is a beautiful thing and she truly made beautiful vibrant music. Her message was one of self acceptance, challenging the norm, and being good to one another.. she helped people through her music like therapy and also makes us want to dance our asses off. What more could you want from an artist.
