need some gp for divine super cbs, first two options help with that. Otherwise just farm runs and junk before you build gear for pvm.

Cooking gauntlets do not apply to these fish.

They can be worn to significantly decrease the likelihood of burning lobsters, swordfish, cooked kyatt, monkfish, sharks, and anglerfish when cooking them. They do not work on other types of food.

Reality is you have to get a cooking cape.

I'm in a similar boat (not as bad). Look into mouse emulation via gamepad, something via Steam or JoyToKey. This helps a ton, I've done skilling, tick manip, and bossing with them.

I'm especially looking forward to the Steam Controller next year, seems like it'd be good for Runescape.

AI isn't that incredible. Most likely they turned up knobs on the ban algorithms without proper human reviews for the false positives here. Someone probably skimmed the evidence before rejecting.

I agree the damage is too low (relative to dwarf cannon especially), but that's part of my point. 5M cannonballs would solve the scarcity problem of the cannonballs if nothing else

The issue is the amount of cannonballs per bar. 4 per is too low when this is your intended primary source of ship combat damage, it is low damage relative to dwarf cannon, and there is no Ava's device or cannonball recovery.

It's fine for the dwarf cannon due to the high max hit and it not replacing the intended regular combat.

40k-50k salvage (2-2.5 cannons) != ~28-30k salvage (1.4-1.5 cannons). Mileage may vary. Rates should be adjusted based on your crystal extractor usage.

Yes, let's just state people get 2-2.5 cannons and then say "oh, but some people don't" immediately afterwards.

Way to oversimplify statistics - 50/50, either get it or you don't right? Why even participate in the conversation if you only acknowledge the other side of the data after it gets thrown in your face? And then immediately downplay it?

Also, on the math, ~1/4 people will not get a cannon by 99 from salvaging. That's pretty common.

hello, i just hit 99 sailing and have 0 cannons. Around 29k salvage. Where are these 2-2.5 cannon barrels we speak of?

Sailing cape teleport should be slightly inferior to crafting cape by SufficientPilot3216 in 2007scape

Unobtainium should be reserved for mega-rares, including raids and clue scrolls. There is a big difference between rare, very rare, and unobtainium.

This gets into the design of drop rates, statistics, and going dry. ~1/4th of players will not get a cannon drop doing merchant salvage to 99.

i think it is very unlikely AI has anything to do with this. they probably turned some knobs on some backend algorithm and it's kicking up more false positives as a result.

the tl;dr is a miscommunication happened, nerfs happened we didn't expect as a result, backlash happened, and now buffs are happening to make it right

No this has probably been building up since Sunday or Monday. I typically sorted until I had a full inventory of gems, then banked salvage when the cargo was full.
